State Revenue Sharing Program

State Revenue Sharing is authorized in the Louisiana State Constitution Article VII, Section 26, providing for the sum of ninety million dollars annually from the State General Fund. The legislature has the authority to appropriate additional sums to the fund for distribution.  Three equal payments are made by this office on December 1, March 15, and May 15.
